Ordered a custom portrait? Here's how to get your pet's photo to us. Every portrait starts from your photo. Sending it is quick, and we don't print anything until you've seen and approved your proof.
Step 1 — Check out as normal
Place your order first. Add your pet's name on the product page when you order — that's what we paint from and print on the piece.
Step 2 — Send us your photo (pick either route)
Route A — Reply to your confirmation email (easiest). Right after checkout you'll get an order confirmation email from us. Just hit reply, attach your pet's photo, and send. Your reply lands with your order, so there's nothing else to fill in.
Route B — Start from our Contact page. Can't find the confirmation email? Message us through the Contact page with your order number and tell us you're sending a portrait photo. We'll reply with a direct email address you can attach the photo to.
Always include your order number (it's in your confirmation email, like #1001) in the subject line or the first line of your message, so your photo is matched to the right order.
What makes a great photo
- Clear and well-lit — natural daylight works best; avoid dark rooms and harsh shadows on the face.
- Face fully visible — your pet looking at (or near) the camera, both eyes open, nothing covering their face.
- Not blurry — if you zoom in and the fur and eyes still look sharp, it's a good one.
- One photo per pet — ordering a piece with two pets? Send one clear photo of each pet and tell us which name goes with which photo.
- Send the original file — a photo straight from your phone is perfect. Screenshots of photos lose detail, so attach the original when you can.
What happens next
- We paint your pet's portrait from your photo.
- Within 1–2 business days we email you a proof to review.
- Want something changed? Changes are free and unlimited until you approve — just reply and tell us.
- Nothing is printed until you approve your proof. Once you say yes, your piece goes to production and ships.
